'Retirement' dinner

On Wednesday night Darryl and I went to dinner at Montezumas Restaurant at Mt Gravatt for a farewell dinner -which was organised by my colleagues.  There were 26 people there and it was a lovely night.
Got a couple of lovely gifts and one was a 'MUM' pendant (standing for Midwifery Unit Manager).  A very lovely and special gift to remind me of my Midwifery family - not that I will forget them. :)
So many of them have become very good friends that will last the test of time.

On Tuesday I went to see the specialist about my Meniere's and he tells us that I am a conundrum :)
I do not fit the usual mold for hearing loss in Meniere's.  I am to be referred to another neuologist for a second opinion.  I am to see the meniere's specialist in a month.  Another merry-go-round has begun!!!!!!

Darryl and I have planned a trip south starting on the 13th March.  We will be going down the Pacific Motorway and visiting rellies as we travel.  We will get to Wantabadgery near Wagga Wagga on about the 28th March and spend easter there.  We will be visiting family in Wagga and making sure we have some quality time with Mum.  We will leave there on about 6th April and make our way home again.....

Beckie and Matt have agreed to look after the puppies for us.   Thank you in advance.
Keep well everyone.
