Friday 20th May

We have had some lovely days.Yester day we went and visited Uncle Max and Aunty Kath.  We had a lovely visit in the afternoon but had to leave at about 7.30 to meet up with Neville, John and Kiarna to go fishing.
Uncle Max's latest ship model - the Endeavour in progress
When we met up with Nev and co at the North Haven wall, the guys got fishing.  Nev caught a couple of nice bream and Darryl threw his back as they were too small.  I sat on the bench and read my book :D  Thanks Aunty Kath.  Thank you also for the lovely warm socks, leggings and Beanie that kept me nice and warm and dry from the dew.  We were out until after MN :)
Today we had a late-ish start, did the washing and watched some paragliders over Big Brother mountain
There are two paragliders in the picture

This afternoon we met up with the relatives at the Innes Memorial Gardens for the in-urnment of Mum with Dad.  This was a very small private gathering of relatives and we placed Mum next to Dad and then sprinkled some rose petals and said our farewells to them both.  A sad but nice afternoon.  We then let the staff know that we were finished and went to have a coffee.  The staff rang us about 1/2 hour later to let us know that all was done - so we returned to the site to see their plaques in place.

We are going to go and see relatives tomorrow - and then Nev and Darryl want to do some more fishing - good to see them out there together.  Quality Brother time.
We will go and stay with Uncle Max and Aunty Kath on Sunday night.  Looking forward to that.
