Kenilworth Qld

Left home on Friday in the pouring rain.  It was torrential in some places.  Travelled up the Bruce highway, then onto Steve Irwin Way and up to Maleny through Landsborough.  We then travelled the 40 kms to Kenilworth.  Took about 1/2 hour to travel that short distance due to 8 lots of roadwork lights and then a stop/slow man.
This was the view on the way up the highway.

When we arrived at the showgrounds, we were treated to 'water views from the allocated spot' and we had a very short period of time with no rain and then

down it came.  You can just see the mountain in the mist.

There are 34 vans here at the muster.  There are now 54 vans in the branch - so not a bad turn out.

This was the view Saturday morning.

We had showers on and off on Saturday.  We went up to the Cheese and ice-cream factory for morning tea and then walked up and down the main street.
Saturday night we went to the local hotel for dinner.  68 of us booked in - one of their busiest nights :)

This was the view this morning.

A collection of vans and tow vehicles in our row..........
 a view from the creek.

Today has been great.  Lots of sunshine - not too hot (except when we were all playing bocce) and then a very short shower after lunch.   We were going to go for a drive and check out Charlie Moorland camping ground - but that will wait for another day.
No rain interference with Happy Hour :P
