17th April 2011 and Rebecca's first race

This morning Darryl and I got up at 5.30am to be at the Gold Coast by 7am to witness our Daughter BECKIE compete in her first running race.  It was a 5km run and they started at 7am.  Beckie and her friend Kelly and Kelly's two boys competed.
Kelly took just on 26 minutes to run her race and Beckie did it in 35 minutes.  Not bad at all for a first attempt.  I'd still be running......

Not bad at all for a very FIRST race!!!!
