towing training

Today Darryl and I were up early and off to Eight Mile Plains to attend a carvan and towing course.
We have been planning to do this since last May but with the delay of the arrival of the van - it was put back and back until all the courses for last year were full.  So first course this year and we were joined by Ian and Sharlyn, Peter and Val and our two trainers Brian and Rob.  We had a full on day with theory until 11.30 and then practical for the rest of the day.  It was very 'warm' standing in the sun whilst Darryl did his practical.  We should now be able to get into most van sites with not much trouble.
A really good day that finished at 4.30pm.  When we got home Ben already had the aircon on for us. Bliss!!!!!.

  2. My practical went very well!!!!
I can reverse the car and caravan in a full circle in either direction. I can reverse and park the van into a parking spot with 3 simple moves of the steering well. YAY!!! This is achievable when parking to the left or right of the direction in which we are facing.
    No more dreaded fear.......

  3. Hi Barb,

May I ask where you did this course and how much it cost please? I'm very interested in doing one myself. And since this one is at 8 Mile Plains, it will very handy to home.

    thanks
