A busy weekend

Well we had a very busy Sunday........
Matt and Beckie and the children came over and helped us clean out the yard.  Matt gave Darryl some education in the use of a chainsaw and then they promptly started to alter the look of the yard.
All up we took 5 loads to the tip.
We removed most of the bougainvilleas from along the side fence.  Trimmed the lychee tree, the lemon tree, cut down the dead avocado tree, trimmed the two grapevines, the apple tree and the myrriah.  Along theside of the house we 'pruned' two geshia girls and the lillypilly.
Out the front the 'bird-of-paradise', the snowflakes, and the large geshia girl also got trimmed.  There are three bushes in the front garden that have really big flowers on them (don't know what they are called :)] they have also got a real trim.

Whilst all the adults were busy, the little children had fun playing

We all worked from 9.30 until about 5 in the afternoon.   A long day - but very productive!!!!
Today the 'boys' were plumb tuckered out from following everyone around the yard yesterday and took advantage of te lounge seat.......

And then whilst Darryl 'played' on his computer - I 'played' on the quilt for Beckie and Matt.......
All in all a good day............
