Well what a time it has been. :C
4 weeks post-op I came down with an internal infection and commenced double-dose antibiotics. After a week the loss was the same and the result was that the bug was anaerobic and not responding to the AB's that I was on - so they were changed and I am now on ones that the bugs were sensitive to. See the surgeon tomorrow and we will see what happens next. The loss has decreased today BUT it is still coming away. :C :C
my hot flushes are continuing but it is more like a mini shower when they occur :D it drips of the ends of my hair!!
I am slowly getting the de-cluttering happening and even managed to get Darryl to cull some of his books over the weekend. I have also been good and gone through the books
on family research/genealogy/history and fiction. Have got lots of cooking books, genealogy/history books, children's books and other authors ready to go to a new home. Our old entertainment unit was moved to the shed and boxes of belongings have been gone through. I find that I can do one good day and then have to rest for a couple - which is a real pain in the butt - but my energy levels drop dramatically. Have commenced a new supplement so will see how the energy levels go over the next few weeks.
My Meniere's keeps letting me know that it is not going anywhere - with daily wobbles, Tinnitus very loud without my hearing aids in, an 'off' feeling that cannot be attributed to anything in particular and IBS - well , what can I say......
Finally got some quotes for repainting of upstairs to cover the repairs that had to be made but the one thing that we cannot get rid of is the smell in the toilet...... It smells constantly like someone has emptied a can of air freshener in there. No matter how many windows we leave open. I have washed walls and ceiling about 7 times since being home and the smell just remains constant. The lace curtain has been washed 3 times. I am at a total loss as to what to do. The painters said that they hope the smell will go once it is repainted - will just have to wait and see, I suppose. UNLESS someone has a brilliant idea :D Have washed with general purpose cleaner, spray and wipe, melamagic (a melaleuca product) and sugar-soap.
