our trips for 2014

Ok Lets try again.......
I have lost the original post so lets see if I can replicate it :(
We are currently parked in the backyard of Boon Fmaily home at Delan in Queensland.
This is the home of Brendan and Heather and their combined families.  The home is on a sugar cane, sweet potatoe, pumkin and ginger farm.

We are  here for about a month whilst Heather (my Sister) and Brendan are having one of the busiest periods of their working year.

Whilst we are here Darryl will be chief cook and I will be chief bottle washer (so to speak).  We are doing everything we can to give them a helping hand.  They are out at work from 5 in the morning until about 7 at night.  They come home and have dinner and then go out again to move the watering winches (GIANT sprinklers) and then come back, go to bed and get up early to start all over again. 

So anything that we can do to help is what we are about.

Yesterday we did a trip to Brisbane for Darryl to see his Sleep Apnoea specialist and all is good for the time being.  We are to see him again in three months.  We then drove to Victoria Point and Darryl had the last of his dental treatments for the next 6 months.

 

So we are here for the next few weeks and will be working hard to help Heather, Brendan and the children and my brother Peter also.
