We lef Laurieton last Thursday and headed to Casino in northern NSW. It took us a little longer than we thought but we got there and set up by about 4pm. We were expecting up to eight other couples to join us but in the end there were only two couples there. Allan and Lucy and their dog Bo were a lovely family and we had a great weekend.
Our stay at the Casino RV Village co-incided with the local Beef Week festivities so there was plenty to keep us occupied. Saturday we went into town to watch the display of cattle
The display of old and new cars
and then the street parade. There was a lot of community involvement.
Our van site at the RV village
Today we left the village and our new firends and headed to Evans Head to check it out. It was very cold there and so we decided that as it was only 3 and a bit hours to home - that we would keep going.
And now we are home and the tidying begins and the packing of the van in preparation for our departure on the 15th June.
