Well we left home at 8am this morning and headed to Beaudesert to meet up with Beckie and the children. Arrived at just on 9am. We then waited for Simon and Daniel to go past and then we were on our way. At about the same time - Emily and her Dad went past in the ute with the dogs and the BBQ on the back.
We arrived at the dam at about 10am and there were lots of people there already.
The view from our hillside position. We were a bit diappointed in the fact that the little ones couldn't go in the water - there was about a metre drop off as soon as you got into the water. The water was brown and we would have lost the two little ones......... They wer all VERY disappointed that they couldn't swim.

After cricket and lunch the big boys went for a swim...... and ten they all returned to our spot so that we could sing happy birthday for Emily and cut the lovely cake. Yummy......

All in all - we had a fantastic day.
