Condobolin

Sorry that it has been 11 days since I last wrote on our blog.
We have had a busy time.
We spent nearly a week with Ian and Wendy before heading into the Condobolin showgrounds in preparation for the CamperTrailers gathering.
On Satuday we headed to WaggaWagga to see Mum and then spend the evening with my two sisters and their families.  On Sunday we headed out to Marrar for the 100th Anniversary of the opening of the Uniting Church.  There were over 150 people at the celebrations.  We then headed back to Condobolin.  There are over 100campertrailers/tents/pop-tops/caravans here for the week.  Lots of campfires each evening an lots to learn about 12volt power, mapping, craft on the road and tapping into the knowledge of those who have been doing this for a while.
Today we had a communal camp-oven morning tea - most people bought along goodies that they had cooked in their camp ovens. It was all gone in a flash!!!!!
We had a communal happy-hour today with a competition caled 'tame the toilet tent'  people were timed on how long it took them to fold up one of those slf-erecting- shower tents.  Fun!
Tomorrow we are having breakfast cooked by the lions club and then in the afternoon we are having a open-day for the local community to come and have a look at what we are about. This is to be followed by a night of trivia.  Looking forward to it.
Will post photos once we have down loaded them.
Keep safe everyone!
