Well it looks like the leak is fixed.............. Will know for sure at the end of the week when they read the meter again!!!
Unfortunately last week ended on a very sad note. A very good friend of mine passed away and Darryl and I headed to Grafton for her funeral. The day was cloud and rain free but was a highly emotional day. We returned home on Sunday (albeit very late) and went to Jimboomba on Monday to pick up the two dogs.
Tuesday we were to have the gutters and downpipes replaced as they were rusted through, unfortunately it rained all day.
Today has been rain free and the new gutters and downpipes are insitu. Unfortunately the pumber has found a leak under the shower upstairs (it has been leakng onto the freezer) :( bu--er! What next?????? The repairs are to start on the 21st June!
Had a good call from our nomadic son last night - he is back in England and says he needs to work to get some money as he spent quite a bit on his recent 5 week holiday to Greece, Egypt and Lebanon. He doesn't regret any of it as it was quality time with his great friend Salli.
We are going back to Jimboomba on Friday to help Beckie celebrate her 30th Birthday. The dogs will have another short stay at their house. Both the dogs are improving on their antibiotics - thankfully.
Sorry for your loss Barb, no one can afford to lose good friends, they are priceless. And a leak under the shower......ouch, hope that isn't too traumatic when you get the bill!
